Marine OCS Candidate Regulations

When you arrive in Quantico, Virginia for Marine Officer Candidate School, one of the first things you receive is the “Officer Candidate Regulations” otherwise known as “Regs”. The Officer Candidate Regulations come in the form of a small paper booklet, bound on the top and small enough to fit in your pocket. During the in-processing phase of Marine OCS, you carry these regs everywhere, closely examining them to have a better knowledge of Officer Candidate School and what’s to come after pick-up. Below, we’re providing you with a real PDF file of Officer Candidate Regulations from Quantico in 2006. Some small details may be a little dated, but for those about to attend OCS, I highly recommend familiarizing yourself with this document!

Marine Corps Officer Candidate Regs

Below I’ve added the list of chapters and some of the general information that the Candidate Regs PDF contains. Like we previously mentioned, it’s something that you will need to learn once you get to Officer Candidate School, so reading the regs over now can only help your preperation.
